Last Updated: February 26, 2025

Our Pledge to Your Privacy
Warehouse Group Restaurants Ltd. is dedicated to ensuring the protection, confidentiality, and privacy of your personal information.

At Warehouse Group Restaurants Ltd. and our affiliated entities (collectively “Warehouse Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), your privacy matters greatly to us. We strive to uphold, maintain, and honor your privacy rights. This online privacy policy (the “Policy” or “Statement”) outlines how we gather, utilize, share, and safeguard the personal information we obtain about you through our website, www.warehousegroup.ca (the “Site”), as well as through your use of our sites, apps, or other interactions with us (collectively, the “Services”).

For the purposes of this Policy, personal information refers to data considered personal information, personal data, or identifiable information under relevant privacy and security laws. This does not include data that is aggregated, anonymized, or otherwise exempt from such regulations. This Policy does not imply that any specific privacy or security law applies to Warehouse Group broadly or in a particular situation.

When delivering our Services, Warehouse Group may collect personal information on behalf of third parties as a service provider. This Policy does not cover such third-party data collection, and you should review their privacy policies to understand their practices.

This Policy includes any additional privacy notices we may provide to complement it. Depending on where you live, a supplemental notice might apply—California residents, for example, should refer to our California Privacy Policy.

 1. Your Agreement to This Policy

We urge you to carefully review this Policy to grasp our privacy practices and our Terms of Use. By accessing, exploring, downloading, or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy’s terms. If you do not consent to this Policy, you may not use the Services. Your continued engagement signifies your permission for Warehouse Group to handle your personal information as outlined here.

This Policy, along with the Terms of Use, applies no matter how you access the Services, including via any device or technology we use to provide them.

We may issue extra privacy notices when we deem it necessary. Please read this Policy alongside any such notices to fully understand how and why we process your data. These additional notices enhance, rather than replace, this Policy.

For questions or concerns about our data practices, please reach out using the details in the “Contact Us” section below.

 2. Types of Information We Gather

We collect data you provide directly, data we automatically capture as you use the Services, and data from third parties. Below, we detail the categories of personal information we collect and our reasons for doing so.

(a) Categories of Personal Information
Here are the types of personal information we may collect:

– **Account Details**: This includes your first and last name, email, password, gender, and birth date. We obtain this when you share it with us—such as when booking a reservation or asking a question—or from third-party providers like OpenTable when you reserve a table or buy a gift card. We use this to deliver and enhance our Services, understand our audience, and support marketing efforts.
– **Analytics Data**: As you use our Services, we automatically gather data like cookies, pixels, tags, or similar tools. This may include your browser type, device info, approximate location, and how you interact with our Site or emails. See the “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” section for details. We use this to improve Services, analyze customer behavior, and tailor marketing.
– **Contact Details**: This covers your name, company size and type, job title, address, phone/fax numbers, email, and preferred locations. We collect this when you sign up for newsletters, buy gift cards, request info, create an account, or fill out forms. It helps us provide Services, learn about our customers, and market effectively.
– **Gift Card Data**: When purchasing a gift card, you provide contact details, recipient name, business name, job title, and address. This is handled via our partner CashStar, whose terms and privacy policy apply (see https://blackhawknetwork.com/privacy-policy).
– **Newsletter Data**: This includes contact info you give us to receive updates. We use it to send newsletters, understand our audience, and promote our offerings.
– **Payment and Transaction Data**: This includes your name, address, phone number, payment provider details, card info, donations, purchase history, or other payment-related data. We collect this to process your orders.
– **Survey Responses**: Information from your responses to promotions, contests, or surveys is used for marketing, research, and customer support.
– **Social Media Data**: This includes content you share on blogs or social platforms. We collect it if you post publicly or send it to us. Such posts are public, so avoid sharing sensitive details. See our Social Media Guidelines [insert link].
– **Text Message Data**: This includes your phone number and consent to receive reservation or purchase updates, possibly including marketing texts via short codes. We use this to enhance Services and marketing.
– **Special SMS Programs**: Opting into these programs allows us to collect your name, phone number, job, seating preferences, dietary needs, and how we know you. This personalizes your experience and is shared internally with Warehouse Group staff, but not with third parties for marketing. Reply STOP to opt out.
– **User-Generated Content**: Posting comments or content on our Services may involve collecting your name, email, and purchase history. By default, this is visible to all users. See our Terms of Use for more on this.

(b) Additional Collection, Use, or Sharing
We may also collect, use, or share personal information for these reasons:

– **Service Delivery**: To provide and refine our Services, improve operations, and ensure security.
– **Site Functionality**: To display our Site effectively on your device.
– **Legal Needs**: To assist officials in investigations, protect our legal rights, prevent fraud, or comply with court orders, potentially transferring data between Canada and the U.S.
– **Business Changes**: To share data during mergers, sales, or similar transactions, or receive data during due diligence.
– **Insolvency**: To share data during bankruptcy or reorganization processes.
– **Service Providers**: To work with providers (e.g., for background checks) under strict confidentiality terms, or receive data they collect from you.
– **Partners and Affiliates**: To exchange data with business partners, advisors, or co-branded entities, combining it with other data we hold, always per this Policy.

We collect email, phone, and employment history for this, possibly for targeted ads, but don’t share it with third parties per CPA. Deletion requests may end these benefits due to tracking needs.

6. Marketing Preferences

We value your control over how we use your data. We may reach out via email, phone, mail, or mobile about our offerings. To stop marketing emails, email comments@warehousegroup.ca or follow unsubscribe instructions in emails. We may still contact you for non-marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as needed for its original purpose, or longer if required by law, to prevent fraud, protect rights, or meet business needs. We delete it when no longer necessary or upon your request, unless exceptions apply under law or this Policy.

8. Our Privacy and Security Promise

Your data’s privacy and security are priorities. Our Privacy Officer oversees Policy compliance (contact details below). We use reasonable organizational, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect your data from unauthorized access or loss, notifying you or authorities if a breach requires it by law. However, absolute security online isn’t possible, and we can’t guarantee it.

9. Data Storage Locations

We process data on servers in Canada and the U.S., and possibly elsewhere. Using our Services consents to data transfer, processing, and storage in the U.S. We may also share with service providers in these countries, or transfer data across borders for legal compliance.

Our Services may link to external sites for convenience. We’re not responsible for their content or privacy practices—this Policy applies only to our Services. Review third-party privacy notices before visiting their sites.

11. Protecting Children

We prioritize young children’s privacy. Our Services aren’t for those under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If we discover we’ve done so without parental consent, we’ll delete it promptly. Contact us if you suspect we have such data (see “Contact Us”).
